Lead and oversee the direction and operation of Enliven Services across Otago

Presbyterian Support Otago is the largest provider of older person services in Otago and presently operates nine Enliven Care Homes across the region. Presbyterian Support has a mission to walk with people across the generations to create together places to live, learn, and thrive.

Reporting directly to the CEO the objective of this position is to create business processes and solutions to support and empower Service Managers across the region to deliver best practice services to residents and clients.

About the role

As the Business Manager of Enliven Services, you will work closely with the CEO and board on setting the strategic direction of the organisation and ensuring the operational and strategic outcomes are delivered successfully.

Leadership is at the core of the role working closely with managers across greater Otago reviewing and enhancing their business capabilities and service delivery suited for our community.

Performance, change, financial, operational/service and staff are some of the core management responsibilities the role consists of.

Key role accountabilities include:

  •  Leadership/coaching and performance management of key staff
  • Contract and resource management of Enliven assets
  • Service development and community partnership
  • Planning and reporting to board and CEO
  • Active member of senior leadership team (SLT)
  • Relationship management with diverse and numerous key stakeholders

Hours: This is a permanent full-time position. 

Location: We are open on location of the Business Manager across the greater Otago region as travel across the region is an important part of the role.

About the successful candidate

You will be experienced in implementing business processes and driving continuous improvement, along with understanding budget constraints and financial management of services. We are looking for someone who is passionate about community and believes in the values of PSO and Enliven Services. You will be a senior professional experienced in the health sector who is comfortable working across strategic and operational responsibilities. We are seeking a candidate with significant experience managing teams ideally across multiple locations. Knowledge of health services, aged care, social services, or disability sector is desirable.
