Make a difference in an older person's daily life working as an Activities Coordinator


The Role

As an Activities Coordinator, you will plan, lead, and oversee activities that promote residents' dignity, independence, and well-being, while ensuring they remain connected and engaged. By providing meaningful, personalised activities, you will enhance their quality of life and respect their unique identity.  You will bring a sparkle to our residents' eyes by adding fun into their days. 

Hours:  This is a permanent part-time position; 35 hours per week, to be worked 7 hrs/day, 1000-1730hrs, Monday - Friday.


About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have exceptional planning and organizational skills 
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills including relationship building and advocacy skills
  • Be energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and creative
  • Have a full driver’s license
  • Be empathetic and patient with elderly people.   
  • A Diversional Therapy qualification or working towards one will be an added advantage
