The Role

Assist with activities that enhance personal dignity, quality of life, independence and connectedness for each resident. You will be providing quality and meaningful activities to meet client’s needs and maximise their independence while respecting their unique identity and dignity.

Hours: We are looking for someone who can work on a when and if-required basis. Preferred flexibility is desirable to pick up casual shifts  Christmas/New Year period.


About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have exceptional planning and organizational skills 
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills including relationship building and advocacy skills
  • Be energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and creative
  • Good computer skills
  • Have a full driver’s license
  • Be empathetic and patient with elderly people.   
  • A Diversional Therapy qualification or working towards one will be an added advantage
