If you want to make a difference to the well-being of older people and enjoy some variety in your day, then this Care worker position will be of interest to you. 


About the Job

We are looking for full-time permanent careworkers to work afternoon or evening shifts.  You will be providing personal care within an aged care setting and should be keen, motivated to learn and have an empathy for older people. You will be supporting people receiving hospital level and rest home dementia level support.

Applicants who hold the National Certificate in Community Support Services, Foundation Skills or Core Competencies Level 3, or the Dementia Limited Credit Programme would have an advantage. 

It is expected that care workers without a formal qualification will undertake study towards this while working at St Andrews and we will help you with this.

An Enliven home, St Andrews has 78 residents who are supported at hospital, rest home and dementia level of care. It’s a home integral to the community and 7 of our 8 Presbyterian Support Otago Enliven homes have 4 year certification.
