Join a team that puts people and community at the heart of everything we do.
For more than 100 years, Presbyterian Support Otago (PSO) has walked alongside individuals, families, and communities across Otago - supporting wellbeing, standing for justice, and helping people to thrive. Grounded in compassion, dignity, aroha and manaaki, we exist to strengthen community, connection, and hope.
We’re looking for someone who shares that heart.
As our Community Partnerships Coordinator, you’ll be a connector - someone who brings people together, nurtures relationships, and helps create meaningful opportunities for engagement across our region.
In this role, you will help build and strengthen PSO’s partnerships with donors, corporates, churches, schools, and community groups. You’ll support the delivery of events, campaigns, and appeals; help amplify our stories through marketing and social media; and ensure our supporters and volunteers have a warm, positive experience every time they interact with PSO.
This is a role for someone who loves working with people, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants their mahi to make a real difference in the community.
Hours: 20 hours per week
Some after‑hours or weekend work may be required for events
Local travel within Otago may also be part of the role.
You’re someone who brings energy, initiative, and genuine care into your work. You have a natural ability to connect with people and enjoy building relationships that matter.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
Experience in community development, fundraising, marketing, events, or partnership roles will be an advantage - along with familiarity working with churches, corporates, or community organisations. Comfort with both digital and traditional marketing tools is helpful, too.
Presbyterian Support Otago is a long‑established charitable trust and one of the South Island’s leading providers of aged care, retirement living, and community-based social services. With more than 800 staff and 500 volunteers, we’re committed to living our values of integrity, respect, courage, manaaki, and aroha in everything we do.
