The Role

You'll put your practical skills and compassion into supporting residents with everyday activities such as personal care, assistance at mealtimes, and general care duties that make for happier, healthier living at an Enliven home. You will work hard, but there are few jobs that will give you the immense satisfaction of working for people who are grateful for your help and who contribute to an enriching working environment.

Position 01:  

  • Fixed-term cover for parental leave from 04 August 2025 till 28 February 2026(TBC)    
  • Hours: 35 hours per fortnight to be worked 
    • Week one: 5hrs/day, 1630-2200hrs on Monday, Thursday & Friday and 
    • Week two: 5hrs/day, 1630-2200hrs on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, & Sunday 

Position 02:  

  • Fixed-term cover for parental leave from 01 August 2025 till 25 February 2026 (TBC)    
  • Hours: 38.5 hours per fortnight (7 Shifts per fortnight) to be worked 
    • Week one: 5.5hrs/day, 0730-1330hrs on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday and
    • Week two: 5.5hrs/day, 0730-1330hrs on Monday, Thursday and Friday


About You 

The ideal applicant will:

  • Be empathetic, compassionate, and patient
  • Work well in a team
  • Enjoy working alongside older people
  • Be physically fit and strong 
  • Have enthusiasm and a sense of humour
  • Experience in an aged care environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. 
  • Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent will be an added advantage
