The Role
Our Laundry team provides an essential service to residents across Ranui & Castlewood. As a Laundry Assistant, you'll play an important role in enhancing the wellbeing of our residents by ensuring their clothing and linen are clean, fresh, and returned with care. You will be responsible for washing, drying, sorting, folding, and distributing resident and facility laundry while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Previous laundry experience in a commercial or residential setting is preferred. However, we welcome applicants with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, as full orientation and training will be provided.
Hours: Permanent, part-time; 42 hours per fortnight
- Week One: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, 8.30 am to 3.00 pm (6 hours per day)
- Week Two: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30 am to 3.00 pm (6 hours per day)
About You
We would love you to:
- Be honest, reliable, enthusiastic
- Be able to work unsupervised
- Be physically fit and strong
- Have great communication skills
- Have time management skills and an ability to respond changing circumstances
- Enjoy working with a busy team supporting older people
- Experience and knowledge of laundry processes, preferably in a commercial environment
