The Role
We are seeking an experienced cook who is capable of working in various kitchens with ease and can cook and adjust to the different meal and service requirements across all the kitchens in our nine Enliven care homes across the Otago region.
This role offers a variety of work and a fantastic opportunity for learning and growth. You will lead our kitchen teams and meal service in our homes for older people in the absence of the Head Cooks or Food Service Managers, and equally be happy to support as a second cook. You will be responsible for preparing tasty and well presented food for our residents.
Our kitchens are spacious and light and a nice atmosphere to work in with great staff.
We are seeking an individual currently based in Dunedin. However, you will need to be prepared to travel across the Otago region, providing holiday relief, supported with travel and paid accommodation when this happens. During periods when you are not providing relief, your role will involve working as a cook at Ross Home in Dunedin.
Hours: This is a fulltime, 12-month fixed term opportunity.
